The theory of minihypers applied to other subjects in geometry

Minihypers are multisets in PG(t,q) intersecting a hyperplane in at least a certain number of points (counted with weights). We give a classification of certain minihypers and then apply this theorem to
(1) Linear codes meeting the Griesmer bound
(2) Maximal partial spreads in projective and quadrics
(3) Maximal partial ovoids of H(3,q^2) and the generalized hexagon H(q).
