INdAM Workshop

Aim and Scope

The meeting aims to bring together PhD and Post-Doc students, as well as experts working on dynamics,   stimulating collaborations and discussions between researchers from different areas.

The workshop will consist of four short introductory  courses, developing different points of view on the study of dynamics of the geodesic flow:

  1. the stochastic approach to the asymptotic behaviour of the geodesic flow by Brownian motion ;

  2. the probabilistic approach to distribution via martingales and mixing ;

  3. the semi-classical approach, by operator theory and resonances ;

  4. the ergodicity theorem for the Weil-Petersson flow on Teichmüller space.
