Dear Professor, The Conference COMBINATORICS 2000 will be held in Gaeta, Hotel Serapo, from Sunday 28th May to Saturday 3rd June 2000. The conference will cover the following topics: combinatorial theory, Galois geometries, incidence structures and related algebraic topics, coding theory, designs, and graphs.

There will be invited lectures of 45 minutes and special sessions for contributed talks of twenty minutes each. You are invited to participate in the Conference and, if you wish, to give a twenty minute talk on some aspects of your research related to the main topics of the Conference.

ABSTRACTS - The organizers intend to prepare a booklet of abstracts of the contributed talks before the beginning of the Conference. Abstracts should be sent (not more than half a page) by e-mail, (in attachment, using plain TeX or LateX or AMS-TeX etc.) by March 15, 2000.

PUBLICATION - The Proceedings of the Conference will be refereed and published. The titles of the papers and their approximate length (not exceeding twenty pages) should be included on the enclosed registration form. The papers must be submitted by the end of the Conference.

PROGRAM - A provisional program will be sent at the end of March 2000.

ACCOMMODATION & MEALS in GAETA - Hotel bookings should be done by using the enclosed "Accommodation form". Not many single rooms are available, so people requesting a single room might possibly be accomodated in a double room. Therefore it would be appreciated if you would indicate the name of a person with whom you would not mind sharing a room.

The prices (per person/day) of the rooms (full board, drinks included) are the following:

FEES - There is a registration fee of 150,000 Italian Lire (77.47 Euros) which has to be sent together with the registration form. No fee will be charged for accompanying persons. We are sorry, credit cards cannot be accepted for the payment of the registration fee. Please note that the registration fee will increase to 250,000 (129.11 Euros) after 15 March 2000.

PLEASE NOTE THAT talks must be presented by slides. Blackboards are not available.
