How to arrive in Rome? Rome is easily reached by plane and train.

The main train station is Roma Termini, located in the centre of Rome. Here you can find train information. This station is not far from Mathematics Department: you can walk or take bus number 310 (get off at stop UNIVERSITÀ/SCIENZE). Roma Tiburtina is another train station not far from University; from there you can take bus 163 (get off at stop VERANO).

There are two main airports: Leonardo da Vinci (Fiumicino) and Rome Ciampino. From Fiumicino you can reach the centre of Rome by taxi (40-60 euros) or by train. There is a direct train (called Leonardo express) to Roma Termini (30 minutes - 11 euros - timetable) or a regional train to Roma Tiburtina (45 minutes - 5.50 euros - timetable). From Roma Ciampino you can take a taxi, a direct bus to Roma Termini (Shuttle Bus or Terravision - both 4 euros) or a bus to Anagnina Metro station and then Metro A to Roma Termini.
